Privacy Policy
1Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information — name, work email address, firm name, team size, and the credentials used to sign in.
- Communications — information you provide when you request access, contact support, or otherwise correspond with us.
- Billing information — subscription and payment details. Card payments are processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment-card numbers on our systems.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and technical data — log data such as IP address, browser type, device and operating-system information, pages or features accessed, and timestamps, collected to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Cookies and local storage — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and maintain session state, as described in Section 5.
Project and model data
The one-line diagrams, equipment parameters, study inputs, and results you create or upload ("Project Data") are processed to provide the Service to you.
2How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- create and administer your account and per-seat subscription;
- process payments and manage billing;
- respond to your requests, provide support, and send service-related communications;
- monitor for, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3Your Project Data Stays Yours
WAMO does not claim ownership of your Project Data and does not sell it. We do not use the contents of your Project Data to build competing engineering deliverables, and we are a software provider — not a competing engineering consultancy. Your projects, your clients, and your deliverables remain yours. We access Project Data only as needed to operate the Service, provide support you request, ensure security, or comply with law.
4How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers — vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and content delivery, payment processing, and authentication. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of WAMO, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5Cookies and Local Storage
The Service uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you authenticated, preserve your session and preferences, and operate core features. Most browsers let you control or disable cookies; if you disable cookies that are essential to the Service, some features may not function correctly.
6Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7Data Retention
We retain personal information and Project Data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described below, subject to records we are required to retain.
8Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to request a copy of your information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. You may also update certain account information directly within the Service and opt out of non-essential communications.
9International Data Transfers
The Service is operated from the United States, and information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Data-protection laws in these countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps to provide an appropriate level of protection for the information we process.
10Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for use by professionals and is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an updated Policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.
